As The Voice of Ireland kicks off, we ask, which judge is most likely to WIN?

04/01/2015 13:22

Complete with a new judging line-up and plenty of fresh talent, RTE One’s The Voice of Ireland returns TONIGHT.

The Saturdays star Una Foden and S Club 7 babe Rachel Stevens will join returning judges Kian Egan and Bressie on the panel, in the search for Ireland’s next superstar.

So, EVOKE.ie has decided to evaluate each judge to see who is most likely to lead a c

ontestant to victory, and WIN the show.

Bressie

In his three previous seasons on the show, Bressie has won twice. Therefore, his odds of winning again are pretty good.

The former Blizzards frontman previously lead Pat Byrne and Brendan McCahey to success, but apparently he wants to work with more contemporary singers this year.

For all we know, Bressie could easily pull off a hat trick.

Una Foden

Una Foden is far more than just a pretty face; this lady means business.

Speaking last month, she insisted that Bressie would not win again.

‘There is real competition between us coaches, absolutely! Of course, Rachel and I are the newbies, but Kian has never won while Bressie has won twice,’ she said to Hot Press.

‘Bressie wants to keep his crown, but we’re all fighting him for it. And us two new kids on the block, we’re definitely looking to make our mark.’

Una, who is eight months pregnant with a baby boy, but it’s unlikely his February birth will stand in the way of her chances.

Kian Egan

Let’s face it, Kian probably wants to win the most.

This will be the former Westlife star’s fourth season on the show, and he is yet to nail a victory.

That said, the star has just as much experience as Bressie and he was part of one of the world’s biggest bands, so 2015 really could be Kian’s year.

After three seasons, the Home singer knows exactly what to listen for, and this could be his edge.

Rachel Stevens

Like Una, Rachel is newbie, but she is a force to be reckoned with.

The S Club 7 star is on a current wave of success, and she aims to only pick singers with the utmost talent.

‘I’m sure it will be great fun, but most of all I’m looking forward to listening to the great vocal talent that Ireland has to offer each week and to securing a team of people who have excited me enough to make me push that button for them,’ she said.

‘When I turn my chair, it will be for someone really special who gets under my skin and I truly believe has what it takes to make it to the final.’
