Kian Egan reveals stalker who confronted him outside his house has moved to his hometown
The Westlife star told how the woman, who branded his marriage a 'publicity stunt', turned up outside his family home at 1am one morning.
Westlife star Kian Egan has told how an obsessed fan who confronted him outside his house has now moved to his hometown.
The father-of-one revealed how the woman approached him as he got out of his car at his Sligo home and told him they needed to talk.
Kian, 33, revealed how the fan, who followed him for years when he was in Westlife, had written to him previously saying that his marriage to wife Jodi was just a "publicity stunt".
And now the Voice of Ireland coach, who is dad to son Koa, two, has told how the woman has moved near his family home and is working in Sligo.
He said: "I went in.. and I left very quickly, I can tell you.
"I've been strong enough to deal with that so far - but if she ever went near my wife and child, I would go straight to the Gardai.
"We've always had loads of girls following us around but alarm bells really started ringing for me about this one girl when she sent me a letter saying my marriage to my wife Jodi (Albert) was nothing but a 'publicity stunt' - and for this reason she was going to stop being a fan."
He told the Sun: "I didn't see her for years until one night I pulled up outside my house in Sligo at 1am, got out of my car, turned around and there she was standing there.
"She said: 'We need to talk', and I was like, 'No', and turned on my heels and got into the house."
The star's new album, Home, will be released next weekend.
