It’s a poignant date for Jodi especially, as it’s the same day as her late mum’s Eileen’s birthday. Eileen tragically passed away earlier this year after losing an eight year battle with bowl cancer.

Announcing the news on Facebook this morning , Kian said: ‘Koa got his wish when his baby brother Zeke was born this morning at 7.49am weighing 7lb 13oz.

‘Sharing the same birthday as Jodi’s mum Eileen, the 21st of May. Both Jodi and Zeke are doing great.

‘We are all so happy and so in love with him x’.’

The name Zeke is a Hebrew baby name. In Hebrew the meaning of the name Zeke is: God strengthens, or may God strengthen.

It has not been an easy road for Kian and Jodi, who revealed she suffered from severe postnatal depression after the birth of the couple’s first child.

The 31-year-old was hit with the illness after the birth of son Koa and while she fears it could return, she believes she will be better prepared this time.

Jodi has opened up about suffering from post-natal depression

‘I think once you’ve had it, it is definitely something you become aware of. You look out for the signs.

‘Personally I don’t think it will come back, but you never know. I’d know what to look for whereas the first time I had no idea.

‘When I looked at Koa, I was so euphoric and you get these big bursts of emotions and, y’know, I was so happy and everything, I just didn’t really like myself very much.

Jodi’s called Kian an ‘incredible dad’

‘I had a bit of post natal depression, but I didn’t realise I had it.

‘I had Kian’s support, and he’s such an incredible dad and he just took Koa and did everything with him when I needed the time.’

Jodi plans to release a book – The Furry Door – which is intended to encourage other sufferers of post-natal depression to seek help.
