Westlife's Kian Egan and Nicky Byrne reuniting... but they won't be singing

Instead they are taking part in Ant & Dec’s newest project

Former Westlife stars Kian Egan and Nicky Byrne are planning to reunite soon.

But they won’t be sitting on stools singing – as they have both signed up to appear with Ant & Dec.

They will be special guests on Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway Tour, which sees the TV3 show visiting arenas around the UK and Ireland.

Both 2FM presenter Nicky and The Voice judge Kian said they were “excited” about signing up.

They will be taking over the reins of guest announcers – which Louis Walsh has previously done on the main TV show – and announcing a number of shock surprises.

The Saturday Night Takeaway Tour will visit Dublin’s O2 on September 13.

Other celebrities, including Eamonn Holmes, Joey Essex and Peter Andre, have also come on board.

However, Kian and Nicky won’t be using the time to launch a mini-Westlife reunion despite claiming they will get back together.
